CFEL(Combustion and Fire Engineering Lab.) is pursuing  a world leading laboratory in the field of fire/gas safety and combustion applications. We are conducting a research in both academia and industry through a number of joint government and industry projects to develop the next-generation technology such as the risk assessment of new decarbonized fuels(hydrogen and ammonia), Fire Dynamics Simulation(FDS), Evacuation Simulation, Hydrogen Gas Turbine Combustion Instability and Ultrasonic based Advanced Measurement Technology.
